I'm headed to a wedding on Saturday, so I figured I would show you some of the things I'm taking in my weekend bag. Now you already know I'm notorious for over-packing, but this weekend I'm determined to carry on my luggage.  Since it seems like shoes always take up a lot of room, I'm limiting myself to 3 pairs. These two pair of shoes will be in my luggage and I plan to have another pair of all purpose sandals.

Based on those shoes, I decided to pack some simple dresses for the actual wedding and going out at night. I will have more in my bag, but these are the dresses that are going in the garment bag.


The two outfits on the left will be worn with the pink shoes, and the black shoes will be paired with the the yellow and  charcoal grey dresses. I initially wanted to wear the yellow dress to the actual wedding, but it's a little too much for a daytime wedding. It has a very low cut halter and the skirt has tulle underneath so it flares out slightly. It's super cute on! I need to find someone with a real camera because my camera phone does it little justice. I will have another backup party dress (just in case) and a few daytime dresses along with a romper in my bag.

And finally, some accessories for my different looks. These are the ones I'm packing, but I will probably have on a different pair of sunglasses and a few more bangles.


You may be asking, "Where are her earrings?!". I usually wear diamond or CZ studs. My ears can't tolerate fashion jewelry for more than a few hours. I do need to invest in a pair of gold or platinum hoops though for variety.

I usually shun pictures, but I'll try to grab a few so that I can show you my completed looks. Hopefully I can shut my bag by the time everything is packed...
