What I Bought

I must confess have been snatching up some last minute summer sale stuff. I don't like sales because they are usually disorganized, but lately I've found a few places I can go that don't make my OCD spazz out. I loved these shoes because they were neutral in color and I could wear them to church and not feel like I was doing too much. This fall is going to be a tad more ladylike for me. Not too much, but a tad!

My male friend told me that most of my heels are too sexy. I think these are a sexy compromise. As an added bonus, they go well with my pet Louie.

Then I fell in love with this dress. It's by Elizabeth and James and I found it on a sales rack. I'm familiar with the label, but this is my first time buying something from them. I snapped some quick photos of it in the dressing room, but it deserves it's own post. I may have to rock it to the cocktail fundraiser I attend every November.

I love the strong shoulders and the bottom of it is just as cute. I will try to re-shoot these pictures because they came out so dark.

Lastly, I've been stalking this trench coat. I have a longer black one, but I need a tan coat and the length is perfect for the fall. I would throw this over a dress in a moment!

I actually could see me wearing it with the shoes I mentioned earlier. I haven't bought this yet, but it's just a matter of waiting for the right sale and it will be in my closet. It's not remotely cold, so I can wait on it.
