What Makes Me Cry

by - August 24, 2010

Growing up I was a very big crybaby. My Mom said I would cry so much as a baby that eventually I would make her cry. I would then stop crying and look at her like "What's wrong with you?"! My siblings used to love to tell me I was adopted and I would start crying and walk away to search for my real family. They would always make me cry this way and end up in trouble. Yes, we were a mess!

Now as an adult I don't cry like that. I'm definitely not an overly emotional person. The only thing that can make me cry besides raging hormones is frustration. I've had good cries after a bad day at work or during heated arguments. I try not to cry much in front of people either. I'm the type of person that can make others cry with my tears. It's a gift! Occasionally I'll cry at a sad movie, but usually I'm very stoic. I don't even cry when cutting onions.
