Although I love Chicago, I definitely miss having family within driving distance. I know it's not polite to do with friends, but with family I can pop over whenever. Also my sister and I  had a standing Sunday morning brunch date after church. Although they drive me crazy, I do miss hearing people speak languages other than English and sometimes I need some good African food. That's really the major downside of living in Chicago but I try to visit regularly. It only takes a few days of family and I'm ready to be back home!
