Continuing Education

I have been toying around with the idea of getting a masters degree for awhile and this year I have decided I am going to take some steps in that direction (more about that in subsequent posts). In May it will be 10 years since I received my Computer Science degree and I think it's time to add another degree to the resume. If you recall, one of my long-term goals was to get my MBA from a top 10 ranked business school.  I have signed up for a full day visit at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business in February . It's right down the street, so I don't know what took me so long. Actually, I do know what took me so long... Most of the people that I know who got an MBA from a top ranked school are slightly annoying and pompous, so hopefully I don't feel that about ALL the students and professors I meet. I also haven't received warm and fuzzy feelings from other MBA mixers that I have attended for other organizations. But I didn't let annoying geeks keep me from getting an engineering degree, so it's not a good excuse.  This hopefully a baby step into a new direction.
