I've had a few people ask me what I wear to work and truthfully, it's not very exciting or blog worthy. Most days of the week I have on a sweater with slacks or a pencil skirt. I also invariably have these shoes on my feet. I bought them the day before I went to LA for the first time. Initially I wasn't going to buy any work shoes, but I didn't think my 4 inch heels were the first impression I wanted to give. I've never owned a pair of kitten heels, but they work with all my outfits and give me a little height. They are pretty versatile and I can also wear them with my jeans on casual Friday. Plus, I always carry-on luggage and these shoes fit into my bag perfectly. I work with 95% men, so I tend to err on the side of being conservative at the office. Ironically, we sit next to the marketing department, and those girls look like they hit up Forever21 for their office attire. I can't do that in working in IT though. One Friday I wore leggings and boots to work and the co-workers loved it, but yeah I probably won't break out the cute outfits very often.
