For a minute I thought I may need my fashion license revoked because the day of the Lanvin for H&M launch, I was too jet-lagged to go camp out. It's probably for the best because I heard the lines were crazy. Later that week I flew to AZ hoping to find at least one of the dresses I wanted and found this dress and some other pieces from the collection at the H&M in Scottsdale. I felt redeemed and grateful that I missed the crowds . I also found one of the jackets I was lusting for, but for some reason it clashed with my hair (I know that sounds funny, but it did).

Truthfully, I wanted a darker version of this dress, but the pink looks good with my brown skin. The sash is actually a navy blue, so now I want a pair of navy blue peep-toes to go with it, but I may incorporate a third color to make it fun. I will have to wait until my next trip home to capture some quality photos of me in the dress.

Although I go hard for dresses, I love buying cocktail dresses like this because I know I'm going to wear it sooner rather than later. I hate looking for dresses right before an event, so I tend to have a least one unworn frock for just that purpose. Does anyone else do this, or am I the only weirdo?
