Last Friday night my sister called me asking for help in locating my nephew's father via the internet. Gabe (who about to turn 6 this month) has told my sister in no uncertain terms that he wants to talk to AND get to know his father. Well my sister hasn't spoken to Gabe's father since before Gabe was born.  All that we know is that he now lives in Toronto where he is from. I guess it was just a matter of time before this happened. Last year Gabe wanted to know his father's name and see his picture. He even asked my sister to hang his Dad's picture up on the refrigerator and she obliged him for about a month until he got bored of seeing the picture.

The plan was to find his address and send him a letter, but I found him on on Fac.eboo.k. I'm crossing my fingers and praying that God gives her the right words to say to him. Hopefully he will be willing to let Gabe write him a letter at the very least. It would make my that little boy's year to finally speak to his father. I'm not sure how this is going to turn out, but I'm optimistic.
