I have been eying over the knee boots all fall but I wasn't sure the trend was for me. I tried on a pair early in the fall and was too traumatized at how they made my thighs look that I was scared to try on another pair.  Last month I finally tried again and I'm officially in love with the trend. I don't know what took me so long!  I was originally in love with the Dolce Vita Marilyn boots, but they were $385 and I wasn't sure if they would look dated next year. The boots I got are the first picture below. They were under $100 and when winter is done, I won't feel bad if I never wear them again!

I must admit that I have worn them almost every weekend since I bought them. They are perfect with all the mini-dresses that I usually can't wear until spring (and I love mini-dresses). The only problem is that they are NOT 100% leather which makes them slightly hot to wear. Also, I am a leather shoe snob, but I am trying to fool myself into thinking that I jumped on the vegan shoe trend. Don't be surprised if you see more pictures of them on this blog.
