My birthday came and went (April 19th) without me even blogging about it.  Usually I make a big fuss about the day, but this year I just kinda chilled and it turned out better.  First, I went to a trio 30th birthday party in St Louis the Friday before my birthday. One of my good friends turns 30 this week and she and two other friends had a birthday party at an art gallery/expresso bar/chocolate shop. I had only driven through St Louis previously, so this was my first time actually visiting.  The picture above is from that night. I finally got to to wear the Ji.mmy C.hoo for H&M leather dress I bought last fall. I paired it with some sexy shoes and a navy smokey eye. I thought it came together well! 

I was only in the Lou for about 40 hours and then flew to Phoenix until Wednesday. I hung out with a friends and family during my stay there and on my actual birthday,  my sister and nephew took me out to dinner and South Loop Social Light (who may need a name change) joined us for dessert.  Here goes a picture of my nephew and I that night.


It was a good birthday and I even heard from a few exes who I hadn't spoken to in years. Gotta love Fac.ebook!
